Soo... it looks like the Tinder bypass could work h/t @benthompson for the Google Play knowledge and @JerryCap for the primary diligence on Tinder Gold 😎
This would introduce friction to conversion process, although dating might be one of the least deterred activities by marginal inconvenience.
My guess is Tinder does $500M+ in revs through Play store, and biz is increasingly skewing international where Android more dominant. Obviously not all users will enter their card, and would take time for multi month packages to renew, but in 12-18 mos would be $200M ebitda opp.
Next year’s estimate is like $950M in ebitda. So... $200M is a lot.

Here's my crack at a "best" of distributors list.

Tried to compile margins and returns. For ROIC, I standardized NOPAT using 25% tax rate across the board, so it won't foot to reported numbers. For IC I used WC+PPE.

Impressive group. Had never heard of DPLM, but ranks well.
I looked at most in here, some I excluded because they didn't look enough like a distributor to be fair comparison. Names like GWW, MSM, SYY, ORLY, CDW didn't make the cut.
The high capex to sales appears rewarded in this group because the returns on invested capital are so high, and seemingly persistent.

knew they had an investment in Pinterest, but this turned out pretty good:

Quick thinking on Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle:

1) $12.99 is incredible value

2) Think they should add a Hulu/D+ bundle at $10.99 to capture the militant "don't want to pay for sports" crowd and also b/c behavioral psyche would say it makes $12.99 even more enticing
3. Any customer with intention to buy one of the individual services at $5-7, an incremental $6-8 for the other 2 is almost a no brainer

4. One of the knocks on D+ is lack of enough "new" content to hold onto customers throughout the year. Bunding w/ Hulu solves for that issue.
5. People asking how the economics work. Hulu is generating meaningful ad dollars per sub. NYT article said $9/mo per sub. That helps offset the implied discount of the bundle. Iger made clear in CNBC interview growing Hulu is key b/c of ad revs.
