Shame this story fails to mention the enormous amount of Israeli farmland near the Gaza border that has been deliberately destroyed by Palestinian incendiary balloons thanks to the wind direction from Gaza into Israel. It's herbicide not genocide.
The burning of tires and toxic smoke by Palestinian rioters on the land adjacent to the Gaza border fence is presumably not conducive to agriculture either. Gaza also suffers from poor water supply and a non-functioning sewage system. Couldn't that also affect farmland?
Worth noting that it took Israelis in Gaza huge amounts of agricultural technology to grow crops before the disengagement. If Palestinians hadn't destroyed the Israeli greenhouses that were left for their own benefit, they'd have better crop yields.
And what would happen if Israel were to spray on its side of the border manually? Most likely, its people would be shot at or targeted from the Gaza side of the fence.
