.@PattyMurray (WA) is the 3rd highest ranking Senate Democrat. Not a House Representative, but still significant a member of leadership has come out in support of impeachment.

This comes on the same day as four House members from the Washington (State) delegation came out too.
Nearly half of the 235 Dems in the House have bucked leadership to call for impeachment. Hitting 118 will be a milestone — but only psychologically. The Speaker isn’t bound by a majority of her caucus, nor has she called crossing 51% meaningful.

ICYMI @RepJerryNadler did TV interviews this weekend which were not only consistent with his Friday remarks but stronger.

And while saying there’s no timeline might be maddening, it’s smart. There’s no false self-imposed deadline to garner a mythical #.

With the hearings over, one thing is clearer than ever:

Formal impeachment proceedings are as righteous and required now as they were when we woke up.

More so.

The politics of impeachment can go fuck itself.
I continue to believe impeachment is right.

I know the political ramifications could be bad.

But I believe politics shouldn’t paralyze us.

And while I respect other views, to those who think donald trump will ever spend a day in jail:

I have a tower in Moscow to sell you.
My month-long moratorium on debating the merits of impeachment will continue indefinitely. Life’s too short.

What I wrote in March remains my view. So like Robert Mueller I will not veer from or expand upon my oped, therefore I refer you to what I wrote:

those are all troll factory/internet research agency accounts.
so pull the accounts that follow them.
you get all these shady looking accounts with the same stats.
drop the false positives, drop the duplicates. you get about 180 accounts worth looking at.

You needn't be a fan of Wolff's work to know #FireAndFury depicts a Trump who is dangerously incompetent and utterly lacking in either self-control or control of his own @WhiteHouse.

#GOP leadership can dismiss #SteveBannon, but they cannot ignore the state of the presidency.
What's onerous for #GOP leadership & problematic in recent @nytimes reporting of Trump as merely a guy who's changing things up, is Trump's still the one in charge of the country.

Trump's nearly provoked a nuclear war and threatened a private citizen with jail.

He's dangerous.
Many (inexplicably) believed @GenJohnKelly would pull Trump's @WhiteHouse together as Chief of Staff.But other than several firings--including of #Bannon--and an embarrassing attack on a black Congresswoman, Kelly's been MIA & Trump is worse than ever.
