Syed, upon reaching Goa switched sides and joined Adil Khan of Bijapur Sultanate offering him all the money he carried.

Krishna Devaray responded with his might. What ensued is Battle of Raichur which had seen large scale violence.
Battlenof Talikota Aliya Rama Raya, the last ruler of Vijayanagara Empire was attacked by the united Deccan Sultanates of Ahmadnagar, Bijapur, Bidar, Golkonda.

Still Vijayanagara forces were winning....until 2 trust Muslim Generals (Gilani Brothers) of Aliya Rama Raya switched
sides on the battle filed and joined the Deccan forces. Aliya Rama Raya was stupefied seeing the betrayal. Gilani Brothers dragged him to Adil Shah and was beheaded on the spot - End of Vijayanagara Empire!!!
