Bernie Sanders, a front runner in the 2020 race, got a standing ovation at the NAACP event on Wed. I think that warrants some coverage. But he doesn't get a mention here.

I believe he was also the only candidate asked abt Reparations -- a sign that reporters care less about elucidating the candidates' stances on an important issue than exploiting it as political tool.

Bernie's answer was amazing FWIW, but folks aren't interested in covering that.
Bernie Sanders has consistently come in second behind Biden as the the most favorable candidate for Black Americans. He has more non-white support than any other candidate. But how he's (positively) received at an NAACP event isn't worth covering in the paper of record. 🤷🏾‍♀️
