Perfectionism always masks something deeper.

Ask yourself what it is.

Are you afraid of the criticism?

Do you really think itll be flawless in the first time?

Has a past loss been hindering your moves?

Find the cause & make amends with it
We aren't born with perfectionism.

It is conditioned into our existence.

And alongside procrastination, it is one of the biggest dream killers...
Life Law:

Procrastination will never get you started.

Perfectionism will never get you finished.
Picture this for a second.

When you see a baby learning to walk, what do you see them doing?

'They are attempted to walk.'

Do they succeed in the first few times?'

'Nah.. They try, fail, recalibrate & repeat.'

Exactly
I've never seen a perfectionist baby in my life.

And neither have you.

Why?

Because they simply don't exist.
So at what point did we become perfectionists?

Idk about your story.

But for me, it began with school.
I always had this 'fuck it, let's begin & I'll figure it out from there' mentality.

But with school, I didn't have that opportunity.

Rather, I had to adopt the 'learn all the formulas so you can pass the exam' mentality.
If I was able to perfect my knowledge of the book, then I'd pass the exam.

Which ended up happening!

Perfect the study guide & implement.

A recipe for success..... right?
Not quite.

I realized that sort of jazz worked in school.

But in the real world, you don't have any study guides.

You can study your ass off.

But you will still fail a fuck ton of times before you get your first win.

That's just how the real world works.
After a lot of lost opportunities, I realized I needed to go back to the roots.

It was time to unleash 'fuck it, let's begin & I'll figure it out from there' mentality once again!
I was back to the baby who was learning how to walk.

-Fail, recalibrate & repeat.

Keep doing this until you figure it out.
This is one of the reasons why people with heart do better than intellects in the real world.

They don't think too much at first.

They begin & take a lot of action.

And after they gather data with their action, THEN they think.
-In school, studying a lot will lead you to pass the exam.

-In the real world, studying a lot will lead to analysis paralysis.

-In school, you get the lesson first, then the test.

-In the real world, you get the test first, then the lesson.
-In school, memorization is rewarded.

-In the real world, grit is rewarded.

-In school, failing is a bad thing.

-In the real world, failing is data gathering.

-In school, intellects rise.

-In the real world, adapters rise.
You're going to deal with fear every time you enter something new.

But keep your legs moving.

Be the baby.

Don't see 'Losses.'

See 'Solutions in the making.'
Keep telling ya...

When you adopt a growth mindset, you'll learn perfection is an illusion.

You never fully perfect anything.

There is ALWAYS room for growth.

Rather than chase 'perfection' chase 'perfecting.'
Each trial will be better than the one before.

You will carve an amazing statue out of a block.

But you need the courage to enter the unknown.

Be sloppy at first.

Who cares.

View it as a badge of honor.

You'll see how far you have come when things begin to CLICK.
Tick tock homie.

Time's running out.

Bet on yourself.

Pull the trigger & begin.

And adapt along the way.

That's how we do it in the Level Up World.
