The great one @marklevinshow The former 75th Attorney General and the former 81st attorney general of the United States. I had second thoughts about doing this thread. I thought maybe I should wait until @realDonaldTrump tweeted it out and just re-tweeted his.
Both former Attorney General‘s agree there should’ve never been a special counsel.
This wasn’t obstruction of justice. @realDonaldTrump should have been furious of the misconduct going on in his department of justice. The special counsel was charging people just to try to make them say anything bad about the president.
Let’s talk about obstruction of justice for just a moment. You know the thing the Democrats keep screaming about and apparently have no freaking idea what it is.
There was no obstruction charges because there was no obstruction. If @realDonaldTrump would have obstructed you already know one of the Trump haters in the special counsel would have ask the attorney general to waive the OLC opinion and file charges.
The impeachment clause doesn’t just go through like any other piece of legislation. It was specifically set up as a safety valve.
