you are going to use it in disobedience to Him. An that is why Allah described your wealth as fitnah, likewise your children. This is because some of them could mislead you & some of them could disappoint you to be obedient to Allah.

We've children that guide their parents & we have the ones that misguide theirs. That's why they are nothing but trials. So 'Fitnah' can be used to describe something that's good or something that's evil. However, trial/fitnah depends on how you utilize whatever comes to you.

We should try to study the Quran, sunnah of the rosul (SAW), do what we are called to do and we do our best to comply. The best provision for you to protect yourself from all evil is for you to have taqwa. That is why we need to develop, integrate and safeguard our taqwa;

which is the most important thing. Taqwalah is your own shield. That is why Allah's instruction to all of us is to have taqwa. The Quran also called our attention to this. 'The most important instruction that Allah has ever sent to mankind and jin is for you to have taqwa'.

NB: will try to use Sahih hadiths as much as possible, specifically Sahih Bukhari. References will be given unless stated otherwise for good reasons. This isn’t addressing all Shia beliefs/misconceptions but a few main ones
Unfortunately a couple things have to be cleared up beforehand. Shia worship Allah (one God) and do not hold the Prophet or Imam Ali above Him. As much as you hear that our beliefs are shirk, we maintain the firm belief in monotheism and would invite anyone to prove otherwise
