The Bishop Whipple Federal Building is where our Minnesota neighbors are handed over to ICE, to be locked up or deported.

#NeverAgainMeans putting our bodies on the line and doing what it takes to #ShutDownICE. Right now that means we’re not backing down, even when employees of the deportation court try to drive straight through us.

When we say Never Again, we mean it.

More protesters are reinforcing the area where cars parked at the Federal Building tried to drive through us. We are united, & we are not moving, because #NeverAgainMeans shutting down business as usual until ICE is gone and our neighbors are free.

This guy tried to drive his car through a crowd of #JewsAgainstICE, immigrants and allies shutting down the Federal Deportation Court in the Twin Cities. And he did it while yelling ‘build the wall’ out the window.

We’re not moving.

#AbolishICE is step one. We need to replace our entire dehumanizing, violent immigration system with one grounded in the dignity of our immigrant neighbors, in our communities and at the border.

We are people of all ages and backgrounds, united in our determination to do whatever it takes to stop the system of targeting and abuse that ICE and CBP are operating. We are #JewsAgainstICE, immigrants, and allies saying Never Again means Never Again for Anyone.

Everyone trying to leave the Federal Building keeps honking at us. We’ve decided they’re on our side, so our new chant is “honk to Abolish ICE.”

Direct action is powerful, and it feels good to get off the couch and get into the streets, and that’s as it should be.

ATTENTION MINNEAPOLIS: Come join us outside the Federal Deportation Court (Whipple Building)! We’re here, we’re staying strong, we’ll still be here when you arrive, we’re singing in Hebrew and we’ll teach you the words!

These are Trump supporters outside the Federal Deportation Court we’re shutting down. They’re furious, because we’re blocking parking lot exits & they “want to see their kids.”

We want everyone to be able to see their kids. We want everyone to be free. This is what it takes.

UPDATE: We’ve now been in the streets for two hours, shutting down all vehicle exits from the Minneapolis Federal Building that houses ICE Deportation Court.

We’re still going strong, because we have medics & music and we take care of each other.
