For the record... I do not need Jeremy Corbyn to come out in favour of staying in the EU. Lots of Remain voices want that. I personally don't need it. He's always been a eurosceptic. It would probably damage his credibility and the Pro-EU movement if he was its front man.
A sustained push for a referendum is all I need from him, as long as no-deal is not on the ballot paper. We MUST NOT see a repeat of 2016 where the Brexit side can sell multiple different fantasy deals knowing that not all Brexit voters will get the one they personally wanted.
The argument that you can't put the deal on the ballot paper because parliament has voted against it holds zero water. Parliament also voted against No-Deal many times.
Based on the votes for the 2017 manifestos, there is a mandate to leave the EU with a deal but not for no-deal.
