The reasons why @jeremycorbyn & @JoSwinson don't want the other as caretaker PM are obvious. But if this falls apart because your egos are too big, that's on BOTH of you.
Ideally find a temporary leader with the charisma of a garden brush that neither of you feel threatened by.

Jo Swinson has a point. Tories fear a Corbyn Government more than they fear no-deal Brexit, so a different temporary leader is more likely to get them on board

But this doesn't have to be a total block. See how many Tories come on board with Corbyn (now that I say that out loud I'm even more sympathetic to Swinson's point). If that fails try someone else. Stop making this so tribal!! Be adults!!!
