Going out on a limb. The difference between the second-placed BJP and the leading party in at least 5 seats would be less than the votes garnered by NOTA.
The BJP lost SIX seats where #NOTA secured more votes than the victory margin.

The seats were Radaur, Neelokhedi, Meham, Rohtak, Rewari, and Faridabad.

Had the BJP candidates worked harder, their party would have got the majority. (via @prafullaketkar)

This year's choice is heart-warming, because it reaffirms the need for a scientific frame to look at issues pertaining to Economics.

Essentially, what Banerjee, Duflo, and Kremer have done is to study the poor, with a keen, scientific eye, as though it was a lab experiment. 1/2
2/2 Just observing the poor led to a remarkable change in the way problems relating to poverty, health, education, can be tackled. The Laureates did what EVERY politician should.

Observing the poor in a cold, scientific way doesn't mean you are cold-hearted. It means you care.
1/n One simple "lab experiment" illustrates this: Observing pitiful attendance at a free infant immunisation camp in a Rajasthan village, Banerjee & Duflo suggested a control study: give one group of mothers 1 kg free daal if they come to the clinic.

Immunisations shot up.

Before some muppets start bemoaning the death of the Secular State, this happened at the induction ceremony of Tejas into the IAF.

Secularism is TOTAL separation of Religion and State. Our Constitution is Plural NOT Secular. I lament it but I accept it. And so should you.
You want the govt to not partake in Hindu practices but are fine with it receiving BILLIONS through the control of 104,000 Hindu temples.

If one truly believes that Religion should keep out of State, the corollary is equally applicable: that State should keep out of Religion.

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
