Doing a thread on some of the blatant lies by the #SaveAareyForest organisers, based on their own website and statements of representatives. This is the site. letindiabreathe.in/blog/aarey-fac… I will post screenshots so that they can’t back out of what has been written.
According to the website, Aarey is home to butterflies like plain and striped tiger, pansies and mormons - these are some of the commonest butterflies in the country, they’re literally everywhere. Rollers, grey hornbills, starlings and ibis listed as rarest birds. Outrageous lie. 
According to their website, Metro 6 shed is already being built at Kanjurmarg on the plot they claim MMRDA says is not possible. They’ve written this twice. Fact: Metro 6 shed location was shifted by govt from Aarey to Wadala on 11 Sept 2019, Kanjurmarg shed is a blatant lie.
Mr Stalin Dayanand of Vanashakti must explain how his lobbying for shifting Metro 3 shed to Royal Palms suddenly changed into opposition within a few months.
The website claims Aarey is a forest. But their own activist Zoru Bathena in his interview at 3:45 onwards says “we also know that it is not declared as a forest”.
In the same video, Bathena claims that 65 acres of land is being taken and not 34. however their own activist Priya Mishra is on record saying the land is not even 34 hectares but 27 hectares on independent mapping.
Also both Priya Mishra and Stalin Dayanand need to explain what they were doing in Sanjay Nirupam’s press conference where he was making allegations of scam on the Aarey Metro 3 shed issue.
While these activists claim they are not against the Metro but against the shed at Aarey, please read this paragraph from their website and tell me: is this against the shed or against the Metro?
Disturbingly, in a Facebook post yesterday, Mr Stalin Dayanand asked his followers to “compile a list of names and numbers of people who are defaming us”. Today, some people who posted against them on social media have received threatening calls.
