The #SmartCustody book details what you need to ensure that you don't lose your Bitcoins, your Ether, or your self-sovereign identity. It teaches you how to protect your digital data and cryptocurrencies with procedural solutions.
The book offers a risk-modeling methodology that leads you through the process of sketching out your digital-asset processes, identifying your vulnerabilities, determining your true risks, and correcting those dangers.
The book includes an example 14-step cold-storage scenario built using the risk model, along with a set of 27 personified adversaries. Case studies for each help to make the adversaries real, and identify both abstract and historic attacks for each.

This past week, I read Emery Roe's "Narrative Policy Analysis" dukeupress.edu/narrative-poli… - as someone who teaches Public Policy Analysis, I figured I had to go through different policy analytical methods. Moreover, I am a qualitative methods guy, so narratives are kind of my jam.
To be perfectly honest, even though I've always read the foundational literature (Dvora Yanow's Interpretive Policy Analysis, etc.) I have been much more drawn to recent work on the Narrative Policy Framework that Liz Shanahan, @deseraicrow Mike Jones and others have advanced.
If I had to find another "foundational" text that is sometimes (happily, not often) overlooked is Deborah Stone's Policy Paradox and her radon and dioxin causal stories' article. Also often overlooked is Denise Scheberle's article following Stone. It's really interesting though.

Meet Sarge. He has been in and out of Minneapolis Animal Care and Control multiple times over the last two years 💔.

He originally came to us on March 22, 2017 as a stray and was adopted on April 3, 2017. He was returned on Oct. 10, 2017. His adopter was a senior and could no longer take Sarge on walks, and overall Sarge was too much for him to handle.
Sarge was then re-adopted on Oct. 13, 2017, returned on Jan. 30, 2018, adopted March 1, 2018, and returned Jan. 4, 2019. 😢
