1/ I've often said to myself that my greatest fear is not being able to read for some reason. That would be a subset of my brain "not working" since I would listen to audio books or learn Braille if it meant I could still read.
2/ Charlie Munger was at one time developing a condition in his one "good" eye that was causing it to fill up with blood. He was told he would eventually go blind. When he learned this he told someone close to him, “It’s time for me to learn braille.” 25iq.com/2015/11/14/cha…

1/ The media is currently full of hot takes by pundits right now that "the market" is demanding that businesses "be profitable." By that they mean the business must be generating an accounting profit right now.
2/ Investors remain willing to buy shares of businesses offered for sale at a bargain based on long-term cash flows, discounted by a cost of capital. Investors know they can’t spend an accounting profit. They also know that running out of cash is an unforgivable sin in business.
3/ Why do pundits focus on accounting earnings instead of cash? Because earnings are reported and available. It's easy!

"Cash flow? Well that's hard! Why not just focus on ratios you can find on a web site!"

If you want to discover a secret about an asset do something hard.

Was this before or after IBM introduced its Personal Computer (PC) running MS-DOS?

It wasn't until August 12, 1981 that IBM's shipped a PC with MS-DOS.

Why did iBM select the Intel and not Motorola as the CPU in its PC?

Story time.
About a year and a half ago I was in my second semester of my sophomore year of college. In a fraternity, living in the fraternity house, drunk all the time, shit grades, honestly it was a blast.

Most fun year of college for sure.
Towards the end of the semester I met this fine ass girl at a concert. Thicc as a bowl of oatmeal, pretty face, definitely a looker. We started talking. Turned out she was in a sorority and lived in the sorority house next door.
