There's a historical irony here that begs to be developed. In this book, @MicNick11 shows how conservative fears of Russian/Communist "mind control" via UNESCO, sex education, new math, etc. provided an important motivator for grass roots right wingers in the 50s & 60s. 
@MicNick11 What weaponized Facebook is doing to a substantial number of rank and file American conservatives looks a lot like what those 50s and 60s conservatives, Bircher types and Goldwater fans, feared. Only those tactics are being used ON BEHALF of Trumpian conservatism.
