International negotiations are not war, and using the language of war guarantees failure.

I'm imagining at the general election the dominant narratives will be "surrender to the EU" and "surrender to Trump" which is a depressing prospect
Bilateral agreements require compromise. If compromise is branded as surrender we can forget ever making any deals.
Language is important. MPs are being branded undemocratic even though the entire basis of the UK's democratic system in the election of MPs.
It isn't all one way. I see leave voters branded as "gammon" which is undoubtedly elitist. Though my experience is that no-deal supporters are generally more abusive here on twitter (perhaps someone could do a study).
I could be the only person who has been de-radicalised as a result of Brexit. At least in the UK. Polls suggest that's more common across the EU.

Or perhaps there is still a silent majority. Live in hope. /end
Didn't see this before posting, but same really that we are not at war - and I had missed the PM saying that MPs safety should require them to vote a certain way, which is language with pretty awful historic parallels
