IF is a system.
Systems work long-term.
The long-term is where your focus needs to be, because this fitness journey never ends.
And this is exactly where diets fall apart - they don't last.
Here's reason 1:
Most diets leave you hungry every night, and there's only so much willpower in your 'tank'.
Eventually, it drains to zero.
And then you fail.
IF prevents this tank from ever being empty, due to the effortless fat loss.

This is where you have ultimate freedom.
Your diet doesn't 'fail' if you eat a sweet potato.
Your diet doesn't 'fail' if you have a glass of red wine with your steak.
Stick to the window & your calories, that's it.
Which certainly makes long-term leanness more likely.
When you cut down your eating window, you cut down the insulin spiking.

This is a really important component of long-term health, and something that isn't addressed by most diets.
Eating around the clock makes Autophagy much more difficult to achieve/maintain.

Socialising usually happens at night, not at breakfast.
And you're not going to sit there, eating nothing, drinking nothing, being miserable because you've run out of calories...
While everyone else enjoys themselves.
Not sustainable.
- You can eat more
- You have more flexibility
- You have the appearance of a 'normal' (non-dieting) person

Especially in the mornings.
This complements all your other life areas, whereas most diets leave you feeling hungry and drained.
IF works WITH you.
Most diets work AGAINST you.

Again, this complements other areas.

No diet is maintainable on vacation.
But IF of course, is a system, and it's VERY do-able regardless of where you are in the world, ESPECIALLY if you do OMAD.
I've used it to LOSE several pounds while abroad.

Try getting 2000+ calories in one meal.
It's not easy.
Finally:
Most of you still get cravings (sugar addiction).
But if you:
A) Fast for at least 16 hours per day, and;
B) Drink black coffee
It's a matter of time until you simply no longer even WANT sweet crap.
