There are a number of elements in the plan, a lot of which is similar to what Pelosi has proposed in the House.

The first element to the proposal is the “what you pay at the pump.” These are things that help consumers but don’t bring down general costs.

There’s a special affordability element to target people on Medicare w cancer & HIV, RA & MS presumably by targeting the cost of those drugs. 4/
He mentions Naloxone as well as part of his focus on opioids.
In my opinion, all life necessary drugs like insulin, blood pressure control meds, HIV cocktails & certain cancer therapies must always be available & affordable at any income. He can do more there in future plans. 5/

On some of the big questions of the day— he would “allow”

Overall, this is the 3rd health care plan from @PeteButtigieg. 1 was on mental health, 2 on universal coverage, and third on rx.
