often i see ppl on the left ask how do maga-devotees "explain this" or "reconcile this" and cite some conflict between trump words/actions. the answer is: they dont. it doesnt matter. it is immaterial.

and honestly it seems insane because hes a political leader and not a deity, but its how people handle religion. very few people in any faith take ALL OF IT as the word of the deity. they pick and choose and ignore the parts that rub up against the logic.
so yeah, trump is an alpha but hes also being persecuted by pelosi/schiff. he's a godly man but hey he jokes about assaulting women so what. he fights corruption but if he's corrupt, "everybody" does it so what. and on and on. it doesn't matter.
this is why its dumb to spend so much time thinking "how can we reach these people?" you can't. they are unreachable. time/energy better spent reaching and motivating all the non-cultists, of which there are more.
