Many distractions today but don't sleep on this.
A House committee met to mark up a bill that has major implications for those soliciting foreign interference in U.S. elections.

POTUS and GOP perpetual talking point is that the House is "do-nothing" and they haven't worked on any critical legislation to help Americans.

Well, this is the third bill proposed to protect U.S. election integrity. The third. It is up for debate + vote in the House next week.
The other two (details in my story) were killed by @senatemajldr Mitch McConnell.
Given the specific nature of the #impeachmentinquiry, the likelihood the SHIELD Act makes it out of the House is nil. But a showdown - she's a coming.
