I had a mysterious federal flag on my drivers license that prevented me from renewing it for nearly 2 months earlier this year because of illegitimate failures to appear in court in another state:
I owed no fines and the FTAs were not legitimate. They told me at first that I had to show up and talk to a judge... in Atlanta. A lawyer warned me that if I did that I would be arrested on the spot. I fought them and got them dropped eventually.
But given all of that shit, how could you trust the system to not cause mass chaos and fuck ups with something like this?
