Oh, look what's on Netflix in Australia. Grab the popcorn*.

Can, not, resist...

(* Actually smoked oysters for me)
30 minutes in and so far this movie should be used is an exercise in logical fallacies/critical thinking. Non Sequiturs, cherry picking, incomplete comparisons just to name the most common ones.
An hour in and it's only got worse. The stronger erections section wins for the worst, which after a lengthy giggle session ended with a flippant comment that it was "not scientific". 🤔
Fifteen minutes to go and we set aside the premise that this is about "athletics" and it really turns up the volume to what becomes evidently no longer an "eat more plants" message but a vegan one. The overriding message is that any amount of animal products are negative.
Not once is it suggested that any of those "convinced" by a plant based diet were simply changing to a healthier diet. Some even confess to eating majority "discretionary" food yet this isn't even acknowledged.
Finished. Thankfully, as I can ungrit my teeth now. 😬
I actually don't even know where to start with this movie. Had the message been "you don't need to eat tons of meat for performance and eating plants rather than junk food is better" it wouldn't have been a bad movie*" but nope.

(*Carnivores will disagree with this entire movie)
The shortest way I can think of to summarise Game Changers the movie @gcmovie is "if it seems too good to be true, it probably isn't". What's worse is this movie misleads not by flat out lies, but by partial information and insinuation the whole way through.
@gcmovie Also, burritos. The whole movie seems to feature burritos. I can't help thinking they were chosen for their phallic symbolism because this movie also spends too much time on penises.
@gcmovie One particularly egregious example of misleading information for me personally was a bench press overlaid with a fast-flash statistic infographic suggesting a plant based meal could improve lifting strength by 19%. This epitomises the movie as you're left going ...hold up what?!
@gcmovie I'd expected to come away from this movie with at least some "well they did have some good points" but instead found myself forced to suspend disbelief more than some of the worst fiction movies.
