Having looked at 100s of CGMs let me tell you what you will learn...

- you will find hidden sugar & carbs everywhere.
You didnt know you could find carbs/sugar but you will:
hotdogs, sausage, beef jerky, spices, condiments, sauces, soups, broths, basically everywhere you didnt look.

Patients who switch to olive oil and avocado oil seem to have improvement not otherwise explainable on CGMs

This combination like in nuts and diary seems to drive up glycemia. Elimination has consistently shown to decrease glycemia on CGMs in my practice. Look to replace with more satiating foods (meat, fish, chicken, eggs, etc)
4/9
Eating late night is associated w/ higher glycemia the entire next day. This could be in part to circadian rhythms or b/c most binges happen at night or b/c sleep quality is worsened. Whatever the cause, sleeping is better than eating for glycemia!
5/9
Poor sleep quality, blue lights, late night electronics... improving the duration and the quality of sleep improves blood sugars
6/9
The dawn phenomenon and associated stress hormones can elevate blood sugars. If you can, for a walk, walking decreases cortisol, improves the blood sugar right away, and increases fat oxidation.
7/9
HIIT will cause an initial rise in glucose but then there is a drastic fall in blood sugar afterwards.
Get some all-out intense exercise in
