#UPDATE: Reports a number of hours ago from local media in Syria that the helicopters involved in the raid in Idlib belonged to the (US-led) International Coalition and targeted forces of an Al-Qaeda linked group (Hurras al-Din)

#BREAKING: Today five armed IRGC vessels in the Persian Gulf unsuccessfully attempted to seize a British oil tanker according to two US officials with direct knowledge of the incident-CNN via @HamdiAlkhshali
#BREAKING: The British oil tanker was reportedly crossing the Strait of Hormuz at the time and was ordered to change course for Iranian waters -@HamdiAlkhshali. This will almost certainly be the British Heritage crude oil tanker (position as of one hour ago shown below).
#BREAKING: The HMS Montrose was escorting the tanker British Heritage at the time. CNN’s @HamdiAlkhshali reports the HMS Montrose trained its deckguns on the Iranian military vessels, gave them a warning to back off, which they did. A US military plane recorded the incident.

The question is how did Baghdadi get to and survive in Barisha, #Idlib 20 mins from the border with Turkey, (with nearby Turkish bases) surrounded by rival Jihadi leaders with a $25 million price tag on his head? Or maybe that’s the point... he didn’t survive.

Interesting.. a British tanker in the Persian Gulf has come to a complete stop. Would expect it to start heading south but as of now it's completely stopped.

Boat is the PACIFIC VOYAGER, image of the ship and it's location compared to Iran seen below.
Don't panic or anything, I'm going to monitor this until it makes another movement.
#UPDATE: Boat still stopped, it's status is officially stopped instead of underway using engine. It's at 0.5 knts as of now.

For the record, while everyone seems to believe that the number of civilians in #Idlib is close to 3 million, a Damascus source who has been very prescient in the past believes that the actual number may not exceed 1 million.
2-To suggest that 3 Million civilians live in #Idlib is to suggest:

A-That pre-war housing stock & other infrastructure was able to accommodate double the pre-war population

B-Moreover, safe to assume both housing & infrastructure now nowhere near pre-war conditions/capacity
3-In effect, for #Idlib to host 3 Million now compared to 1.2-1.5 pre-war is to assume either a building boom (not war) or construction of massive camps that would host such massive numbers. Yet to see credible images of such camps or investments in the housing stock
