Listening to "The Hundred Year Marathon" (again) and my brain can't get our current geopolitical game of RISK off a constant loop, so I want to take a moment to lay out just how much progress @POTUS has made:
...
-Closer ties with Japan, AUS, India, Phillipines, Russia = China is surrounded (if you don't know how much China & Japan hate each other, you should read more)
-Closer ties with Saudi, Jordan, Israel = the Middle East is surrounded if anyone steps out of line...
(like Qatar who owns/funds Omar & Tilab)

-USMCA deal = security (economic & defense) of the North American continent

*I'm coming up with a blank for new South American deals to counter Venezuela & Hezbollah's infiltration there - what am I missing?

Consider what this douchebag is saying.
I’m no huge fan of Gates (he REALLY needs to explain becoming buddies w/ Epstein AFTER his first arrest for being a pedo), but this dude’s argument is about as ridiculous as it gets.
First, to say he is somehow entitled to other people’s-
Money or where it should go is what’s wrong w/ society today.
“You made a ton of money through innovation, but I want to be a lazy piece of shit so you owe me.”
Second, Gates gives hundreds of millions of 💵 to philanthropy, but because he doesn’t want to give it to the most-
Corrupt & inefficient machine man has ever created (government) he’s somehow terrible, especially because he understands Warren’s plan will piss every cent away rapidly?
Even if you have your eyes & ears closed and don’t believe “The Swamp” exists, look at the ridiculous things-

I know this has gone around a lot, but...
My first Special Forces BN has the purpose of responding to this type of event specifically, in this AO- it’s their purpose for being.
They train to respond to this exact type of event constantly.
I was just out of the Army when it..
happened.
But it really made (and still makes) my blood boil knowing they were kept from doing their job.
A unit who has a schedule to ALWAYS have people ready to respond to these events is strangely not available to do their job on this day of...
All days?
Not likely.
One day I will find out who kept those men from responding to this and tell the tale. It will likely be the only other time I write non-fiction again.
But Americans need to know who kept brave men from doing their job to save Americans.

@flexibledragnet @JenHogben If people need to pin the blame on one thing (I don't): pick too many Engineers focused on their own small area of responsibility; no one watching at a system wide level. Engineers are used to being blamed, they can hack it.

It's with a heavy heart that we closed the doors to @WellspringSTL. I wanted to share some of my experiences at this beautiful church. (thread incoming)
I first attended the Well on the 1st anniversary of #MikeBrown's death, August 2015. Upon arrival, a later familiar face greeted me with a hearty "Good morning and welcome to Wellspring!" I then received a hug from another friend-to-be and was shown to my seat with a coffee.
The service was both memorial and call to action; something must be done to stop these police killings. I had participated in the Boston marches last year, but @FWillisJohnson delivered a sermon that truly stirred my spirit. What soon transpired was a life-changing journey.
