In response to #Pakistan’s blatant attack on India at the ongoing 40th General Conference of @UNESCO India delivered a strong reply to Pakistan stating that interference in #India’s internal affairs was unacceptable. #UNESCOGC @IndiaatUNESCO @MEAIndia

It stated that the Union Territories of #Jammu and #Kashmir and #Ladakh, have always been, are, and shall always be an integral part of #India, and this includes the territory that is currently under the illegal and forcible occupation of #Pakistan. @Indian_Embassy

In response to #Pakistan’s statement on protection of #ReligiousFreedom and protection of religious sites #India said that the Supreme Court judgement is about the rule of law and equal respect for all faiths, concepts that are alien to Pakistan and its ethos.

Continuing in that vein, it stated that #Pakistan’s lack of comprehension of equal respects for all faiths is not surprising but their pathological compulsion to comment on #India's internal affairs, with the obvious intent of spreading hatred, is condemnable.

India said that the single largest threat to the #RightToLife is #Terrorism. #Pakistan is the world’s largest producer and exporter of this evil. Pakistan's political approaches are rooted in #terrorist #violence and its global engagement is defined by mainstreaming of terrorism.

#India asked the General Conference of UNESCO the following hard-hitting questions:
a)In which country were the perpetrators of 9/11 and 26/11 #terror attacks discovered?
b)Where were #OsamaBinLaden and #MullahOmar found? @IndAmbFrance

c)which country is home to 130 UN designated terrorists and 25 terrorist entities listed by the UN as of today.

d)Which is the country where organizations such as Hizbul Mujahideen, Jammat-ut-Dawah, Lashkar-e-Tayyaba and many other banned terrorist outfits openly conduct their activities, collect funds from the streets and run their offices with active support of the state machinery?

e)Which country is the leader in aiding, abetting the financing of #terrorist activities.
f)The army of which country massacred millions of its own citizens just because they spoke a different language?

#India ended by calling upon the entire peace-loving membership of @UNESCO would serve #humanity well by coming together to impress upon #Pakistan to be a normal country and eschew preaching, practicing and propagating #terrorism
