So far, and contrary to what Twitter Land has told us repeatedly since late summer, it seems that the Boris Johnson strategy of unifying the various Leaver clans by framing this as an existential, high-stakes contest is ... working.
More than a few analysts on here said the opposite - that the Conservative vote would "implode" post-October 31. This, we now know, was wrong. It was another misreading of basic voter psychology &, interestingly, another example of elite left-leaning audience misreading Leavers.
