honestly. warren is eloquent as shit
i know it's popular to say she's hillary 2.0, but i really think she is more progressive. i think she is passionate about human rights and is willing to tackle corruption, authentically, and i admire those things. she is bedieved (jel.jewish-languages.org/words/1755) but i support her
the hillary comparison is just straight up sexism. warren is a vast improvement. and her support of abortion rights is unqualified.

#Yemen a beautiful country full of beautiful #Yemeni who simply want to be left in peace. A country that's only fault is it's location in the world. A location that for the #US is strategically located close to #SaudiArabia, #Iran, and #Israel.
The #UnitedStates #Indoctrination and #Propaganda machine #FakeNews would have the American people believe we are helping to ensure peace and stability in the region. This is a claim that by now ALL AMERICANS should know is false!

We've just released the final report by @Alston_UNSR, the UN Special Rapporteur on extreme #poverty, on his visit to the #UK. The report is available here: undocs.org/A/HRC/41/39/Ad…. A few key takeaways:
Some have asked me why a UN expert on #poverty would visit the #UK. Unfortunately, although the UK is the world’s 5th largest economy, 14 million are in poverty, child poverty is rising & predicted to reach 40% by 2021, homelessness is up 60%, and food bank use has skyrocketed.
To understand #poverty in the #UK, you have to look at the massive disinvestment in social support since 2010: the end of a centralized social fund, changes to the ways benefits are capped & calculated that substantially reduce their value, the decimation of civil legal aid, etc.
