Told that the measures in the Labour manifesto are Remain compliant, indeed consistent with either result of a new referendum. There were some doubts expressed in civil service about 2017 manifesto compatibility with EEA & EU, esp mail renationalisation...
some areas though where there it is a matter of legal judgement. Eg my thread yesterday on the foie gras ban. It is reasonable assume that it would be easier in Brexit situation, would be challenged if we were still in EU, but many legal experts saw as doable under Article 36
Ie I’d expect to see some policies that more assertively test boundaries of what is possible under EU law, something Labour leadership thinks previous Governments did not do...blog coming.

Public finances baseline matters too. Eg Lab could surely not assume Libdem “remain bonus”
