This one of the ironic bits: See, its the DEATH rate for trans people that’s sky-high, due to suicide, overdoses, and the tendency for homeless trans teens to live in ludicrously unhealthy environments.
It is ASSUMED the trans murder rate is high, but the problem is that pre-op trans people have to identify themselves as trans to be counted as such, and they have to do so in a way that isn’t in medical records, which makes tracking their population INCREDIBLY difficult.
So anyone that says they know the actual trans population is FUCKING LYING. We have no idea how big or small it actually is. Anyone that says otherwise is guessing or quoting people who guess.
That makes nearly every other statistic about them guesswork.

What we DO know is that most of the homeless teenage trans population is in, wait for it, California and New York. That’s not surprising, given the excessive homeless populations there anyways, but what IS surprising is that the percentage they comprise of the homeless population
It is actually FAR HIGHER in California and New York as compared to other states.
That’s where most of the extrapolation and guesswork around the trans population is based from, as they often identify themselves in ways others than medical records.

But, therein lies the problem. Because of WHERE the deaths are being recorded and by who, the idiosyncratic nature of coronary record keeping causes the bigger misconceptions. Because all the deaths are lumped together, people quoting death rate THINK they’re quoting murder rate
What California and New York DONT want people to realize is that their homeless crises are so acute, they actually have a homeless fatality crisis in their cities, one that is disproportionately hitting homeless teenagers.
So they turn around, exaggerate the number of trans people there are, hide that they’re basing their numbers off of the homeless teen population, and then push the guilt onto the rest of the United States by pretending that the ‘murder rate’ with trans victims is a nationwide one
And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is how you get the myth of the trans murder rate. A coverup of the muliple stacked fatal epidemics plaguing New York and California.
