One of the things that pluck my last nerve is demands that we do not vet primary candidates for fear Republicans will use that information. That is predicated on the erroneous assumption that Republican attacks are fact-based.
The Benghazi attacks on Clinton were based on nothing but hate. She was SoS so she could not order troops or tell them to stand down. It was not her job.

Jade Helm? Utter bullshit.

Fast and Furious? The ATF could not interdict gun smugglers was pro-gun laws
Look at the Ukraine issue - they didn't want an investigation since that would produce a result clearing Biden. They just wanted to say there was an investigation. Facts do not matter.
That is the point. Republicans make false allegations with fake scandals because real criticisms rooted in facts can be overcome and refuted in ways that their bullshit cannot.

I am so amused by the many in the media who have their jobs due to nepotism, the Trump children who would bus tables if hired on their own merit, the second and third-generation politicians who are shocked by Hunter Biden getting some nice jobs because of his name.
I mean, sure there's a Billy Carter kind of shamelessness about him getting thrown out of the Navy, getting some woman pregnant, cheating on his wife, and getting jobs that embarrass his dad. But really, isn't it possible Luke Russert got ahead because of his father?
Would Molly Jong Fast be at the New York Times without her mom and dad? What about Katy Tur? Not to mention the NYTimes if a family paper and the latest Sulzberger has let standard slide with the likes of Jeff Gerth, Ken Vogel, etc. I'm not going to defend Hunter Biden,

So I am actually celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow as my best friend is volunteering today. So I made myself tamago kake gohan for lunch. However, I thought I reached for soy sauce but instead used sesame oil and it was the most delicious mistake since my spice shelf fell
and I scooped all the spilled spices into the soup I was making. I had guests for that soup & they all asked for the recipe & I lied and said family recipe rather than admit I had no idea what all was in it
And really, tamago gohan is such a long name for something so easy to make.

One of the things I loved about last night's #TalesFromTheLoop game, was that all of the following scenes were added to the plot, but were just as important to the narrative as the main story...
1. Two of the teens went to Echo Base, the local comic book shop, to check out the owner's preview of the brand new Nintendo Entertainment System, and after playing for several hours, they ended up missing their curfew and getting into trouble.
2. The high school bully stole one of the PCs junky servitor robot (that he had salvaged from the local rust yard) and broke off its legs, but after learning that it was not the nerdy characters robot, he was convinced to give it back and chip in a couple of bucks to fix it.
