#Islamaphobia: an irrational fear of Muslims.

Do #gays suffer from #Islamophobia because they rationally analyze the commands of #Islam and #conduct of its #adherents?

Is it #irrational #fear to see the lunacy in the eyes of a #religious #teacher who tells his #aptpupils that #homosexuals are what they are because #Allah allowed #Satan to #finger the #anuses of the male babies of #infidels?

Really?

I mean, #fundamentalist #Christian #adherence to a #literal #sevenday #creation has been the #mockworthy material of the ilk of @billmaher forever!

And somehow, the "#religious" and "#scientific" doctrine of "butt fingering" by #Satan himself -- allowed by #Allah as punishment for being born to #infidel parents is #sacrosanct? Not #mockworthy?

#Islamaphobia?

Do the women -- young and old -- of so many countries #irrationally #fear the loss of #equalstatus, #equalrights, #humandignity at the hands of those who strictly construe and apply the teachings of the #Quran?

Is it #irrational, and therefore, #Islamaphobic, to fear being confined to one's home unless one's father, husband, brother, or uncle grant leave to step outside?

Is it #irrational, and therefore, #Islamaphobic, to fear the loss of the right to #learn, to #read, to #discuss?

Is it #irrational, and therefore, #Islamaphobic, to fear being held to have the value of a fraction of your male counterparts in court proceedings?

Is it #irrational, and therefore, #Islamaphobic, to fear being beaten at home by a husband who is taught that the husband who loves his wife beats her?

How would we recognize actual, irrational, fear of #Islam? Well, for example, being afraid that Muslims will steal your bacon for themselves, or take your puppy home to raise it, those would be irrational fears of #Islam.

But not wanting to be murdered by someone who thinks #Allah let #Satan finger your butt to make you gay? That's not irrational, it's sensible self-defense.
