So I promised to tweet on how the CSOs/NGOs have constituted themselves into security risk for Nigeria. Here goes.

He left in 2018. He realized he was only lucky to have received a whatsapp message ( enabled by VPN) from an expatriate in their headquarter in Maiduguri that he must unfailingly leave the work-station with the helicopter that was coming to drop supplies that day.
The expatriate took a special liking to him in the course of their working together. He was confused when he received the message but still chose to do what he was told by his friend. That was his saving grace.
All the other 9 members of the team he left behind at the station were killed later that day in a terrorist attack. None of the expatriates they usually work with was on ground that day.
He said he was shaken for days thereafter as he sought for answers from his friend.

How come no expatriate was on ground that very day? How did his doctor friend know to send a life-saving message to him while the armed forces &government of Nigeria were ignorant of the coming attack?
It seemed to him that the higher hierarchy of these bodies knew things.

He decided to leave the job despite the good pay. He came seeking a new job in our organization last week.
Many CSOs/NGOs and possibly the major world intergovernmental body are not open with Nigeria and other 3rd world countries at large.
There are foreign interests being served by these bodies. Our Armed forces said this much earlier this year but many pple laughed at them.

Terrorists are being fed and operated upon and we wonder why the insurgency has not ended.
Whose political & economic viewpoints do we expect NGOs with foreign fundings to support? Can they ever be in support of any home-grown solution?

When next you see the leaders of those CSOs/NGOs lambasting the govt. and covertly supporting a change of government on those T.V. morning shows , understand they are only dancing to the tune already paid for by foreign interests.
If we allow these foreign interests enough room in our National psyche, they will foment enough unrest and disorder that will topple a government and possibly lead to War.
