This tweet from a Sinclair "journalist" has been up for 6 hours. If you google "Elizabeth Warren tax returns" the first result is a link to a page with the last 11 years of Warren's tax return. This tweet is a lie.
How much you want to be that if a journalist from a mainstream news organization told such a bald faced lie about a Republican, this same Sinclair journalist would be calling for them to be fired immediately?
The screenshot for when this propaganda masquerading as "news" is hopefully deleted. 
This journalist also most recently tweeted 18 minutes ago. So it's hard to believe that they haven't noticed that from the moment they posted that tweet there were people pointing out the obvious mistake. Hard to see this as anything other than professional malpractice.
This journalist has some strong opinions about what should happen to other people who mess up on the job.
I'm not stanning for Warren here. I'm stanning for truthfulness from the people who work in a profession that is supposed to be devoted to conveying accurate, reliable information to the public. There are mistakes, and then there are lies. Hard to see this as anything but a lie.
This is some next level mendacity here. Apparently this person thinks they are being trolled by people pointing out that she seems to have knowingly lied. Interesting move.
I feel so old fashioned, but I was expecting something more along the lines of "I apologize for the inaccuracy in my tweet about Elizabeth Warren's tax returns. I have deleted it."
It's now the next day and that lying tweet has still not been deleted. At this point I think it's safe to say that @WeAreSinclair is a company devoted to circulating disinformation, and should be regarded as such by any self-respecting media consumer.
@WeAreSinclair And to be clear, the way disinformation works is that outlets with some standing (like Sinclair) weave in a few selective untruths into what is otherwise a largely truthful news feed. It's a different model than InfoWars, which is 90% made up. washingtonpost.com/business/faceb…
@WeAreSinclair The overwhelming majority of what this journalist says on Twitter is accurate. And then there is this one tweet that is clearly a lie. It is the other, accurate material that lends power to this one lie. This is what's so insidious about what's happening here.
@WeAreSinclair This journalist, and her employer, are using their institutional standing to knowingly deceive the public about one, relatively small thing that they hope to make "truthy" by folding it into what is otherwise a truthful stream of information.
@WeAreSinclair Most consumers of news do not have the time or the resources to fact check what they hear. They rely upon journalists to self-police. When journalists, and the people who pay them, stop self-policing (as with Fox News), they are functioning as purveyors of propaganda, not news.
