Nadler's definition of "abuse of power" was interesting. Use of public powers to advance private interest AT THE EXPENSE OF public good. So, by his own definition, it's not enough to show that investigation of Biden corruption would advance Trump's personal interest but he has to
2/ to show that it is doing as AT THE EXPENSE OF the public good. How would the public good be damaged by investigation of Biden corruption? This is much harder to show than possible advancement of Trump interest.
3/ by committing to this definition, seems to me that Nadler has undermined his own objective.

THREAD: cross-reference Strzok texts to Horowitz during origin of Crossfire Hurricane.

July 28- Legat in London sends information to Philadelphia Field Office, who sends to Cyber Section Chief at FBI Headquarters. Strzok involved almost immediately.
2/ Strzok-Page exchanged numerous texts in morning of July 28 (mid-day in London), all redacted. There is gap in texts during day, so probably some others.
3/ gap in Strzok-Page texts from noon July 28 to 6:40 pm July 29. This was first day that they were assimilating information from Legat.

Horowitz shows (in passing) that FBI release of Strzok-Page texts concealed relevant details on FISA. Consider these two texts from Oct 11, 2016.
2/ now compare to what was released. Redaction of 6:21 pm message concealed that they were "fighting with Stu [Evans] for this fisa".
3/ the 6:50 p.m. text, which referred to McCabe, was totally concealed by FBI. "Hey-The FISA will probably not go forward without a call from the [Deputy Director]. Even as is, the court may not hear it this week."

We would WANT MIT to take the money if it was part of a punishment (someone had to repent by donating) against their volition (ie a judgment upon them is saying this is for the betterment of society)

BUT...We would NOT want them to take it when...
2/ We would NOT want them to take it when someone gets a reward (social credit or status) for being voluntarily (if not selfishly) philanthropic

We force public or community service ON the SHAMED or criminals

We strip names OFF buildings to SHAME those who want public credit
3/ The key is not allowing an institution to whitewash or enhance a miscreants reputation at the institutions expense

But to enhance and advance public good at the miscreants expense...
