Nadler's definition of "abuse of power" was interesting. Use of public powers to advance private interest AT THE EXPENSE OF public good. So, by his own definition, it's not enough to show that investigation of Biden corruption would advance Trump's personal interest but he has to
2/ to show that it is doing as AT THE EXPENSE OF the public good. How would the public good be damaged by investigation of Biden corruption? This is much harder to show than possible advancement of Trump interest.
3/ by committing to this definition, seems to me that Nadler has undermined his own objective.
