I think centrists can't perceive anything wrong with BBC or Guardian coverage because they instinctively believe that Centrism (aka Neoliberalism) is not ideological.
They see their worldview - projected and amplified through 'responsible' media - as the epitome of balance 1/

They don't recognise it as the driving force behind ruthless austerity and relentless warmongering that has claimed the lives of millions, exponentially concentrated wealth and power in 1%, created new underclass, fuelled terrorism and despotism and accelerated climate chaos 2/
In short, they just can't see how extremist centrism really is 3/
