1. Use the new Coastal Railway from Ikeja Station to TransAmadi Station transfer at Trans Amadi Station to Aba, Nnewi or Enugu Stations cost N500
2. Fly Air Nigeria from Lagos to brand new airports in Aba, Abakaliki and Onitsha....Cost? N7000...discount if frequent flyer.

3 Drive on new 10 lane expressway from Lagos to Abakaliki.. please observe speed limits....cost? with fuel at new price of N35 a full tank is N2000

Use new Abuja to Aba Express Rail....its a really fast bullet train. ....I used the Sleeper Service, Lunch in Abuja, Dinner in Aba...Cost N500
5. By Air?

Abuja is Air Nigeria's hub, so hourly flights from Abuja to All airports in all 5 States in South East ..please note Owerri International Airport has a charge on parking if flying international. cost of Air ticket N5000
6. By Inland Water Ferry to the East?

Drive your car to the ferry service in Lokoja, float down the dredged River Niger, experience pampered care.

So in starting a business, you can finance your operations with debt or/and equity. Both have advantages and disadvantages.
Debt means you pay interest, equity means you lose sole control. In many business a combination of debt and equity is used. There are financial instruments called Preference Shares that combine the features of debt and equity.
Debt: can your business afford to make the interest payments on time? Your interest payments are always separated from your principal payments, if you don’t pay interest, the default interest charges are added to the debt and it balloons, creating negative compounding.

Reading this Forbes article by Micheal Shellenberger on Climate Change and the Environment. Michael is a Time Magazine "hero of the environment"...but he has some very contrary views....

In America, prices fall during holidays and festivities ie Christmas, New Year.

In Nigeria, prices rise during festivities...

Why?

Economics says when demand is up, prices rise only if supply cannot meet demand

Thus take Turkey, demand goes up in the US in November before Thanksgiving but prices dont rise because the supply of Turkey also increases.

Supply can rise because of supply chain efficiencies
In Nigeria, price of Rice goes up in December as more demand hits market, but supply cannot keep up with demand.

Even imports cannot ameliorate price because of logistics bottlenecks, this demand pressures keep prices up.

For me, the real issue in the #trans #GRA reform is #maleviolence against #female & trans. I note #transmen seem to be absent from discussion. They obvs don't present as #women so don't use women's spaces. But they can't draw attention to themselves as trans because... (1/2)
(2/2) in a male space they would run the risk of attack by men who would see their bodies as still female. I can't find stats on transmen being violent, or female violence on transmen. I guess there will be some, but very small no's. The problem is male violence. #patriarchy...
So we need to be looking at #male #violence and how/why our society raises #boys to think violence is a way of dealing with the world. NB I know this is a generalisation and not all males are violent & not all females are peaceful!

A deadline to Nigeria to separate its National Financial Intelligence Unit from the EFCC lapsed yesterday, without Nigeria enacting a law that would have done so. The likely outcome of the Egmont Group’s meeting will be Nigeria’s expulsion from the group.
In July 2017, @EGFIU lost patience with #Nigeria and suspended the NFIU because of @officialEFCC's habit of leaking sensitive financial intelligence to the media.

@officialEFCC had also refused to cooperate in efforts to grant the NFIU operational independence.
