Lindsey Graham told me tonight that he told Trump he had concerns with going after Iranian cultural sites: “I said we're not in war with the culture of the Iranian people. We are in a conflict with the theology -- the Ayatollah and his way of doing business.”
“I think our goal is to side with the people. Putting cultural sites on the table as a military target undercuts what we're trying to do,” Graham said. Did Trump push back?
"He just said: 'We all do all kind of kind of bad things.' But I said, 'Yeah I don't want to be like them”
Graham added: "The bottom line is I think the president saying, 'We will hit you hard' is the right message. Cultural sites is not hitting them hard -- it's creating more problems. We're trying to show solidarity with the Iranian people. Their culture is not my problem."

Trump doubles down on going after Iran cultural sites: “They’re
allowed to kill our people. They’re allowed to torture and maim our people. They’re allowed to use roadside bombs and blow up our people. And we’re not allowed to touch their cultural site? It doesn’t work that way.”
Trump also tells pool he will slap Iraq with “very big sanctions” if they force US troops to leave. “We have a very extraordinarily expensive air base that’s there. It cost billions of dollars to build. Long before my time. We’re not leaving unless they pay us back for it.
Trump added: “If they do ask us to leave, if we don’t do it in a very friendly basis. We will charge them sanctions like they’ve never seen before ever. It’ll make Iranian sanctions look somewhat tame.”

Americans are once again allowing the Republican and Democrat party divide us over race, when in fact race is not the issue! Please look at the foreign policies these woman support, and the policies they do not support! This is not about race & we must address the real issues!

I ask for Americans to please look at the human policies these woman are addressing. I ask Americans to actually research the US Foreign Policy that causes massive Refugees and Endless War.
I ask Americans to look at who is funding the election campaigns of their representatives. I ask Americans to question why we are continously at war, when it does not benefit the United States! I ask Americans to research the foreign influence that controls US policy!

1. Iran releases video of their shooting down the United States' RQ-4A, the $180 Million dollar unmanned drone which was patrolling the straights to keep commercial shipping lanes safe from attack.
2. The Pentagon had hours earlier shown a map indicating that the drone was shot down in international waters.
3. Notice that the Iranian video has falsely centered the white circle, not around where the drone was shot down: Screen shot from Iranian video (1., above).

1. Some discussion that the ICJ's ruling on #Iran case has no real impact for the United States, because humanitarian exemption remained in place after Trump withdrew from the #JCPOA. But I think that misses the root of US shortcomings and the focus of the ruling.
2. @S_R_Anders and @tradelawnews have rightly pointed out that the May 8 and Nov 4 reimposition of sanctions made no legal changes with respect to humanitarian exports. But operational/practical changes introduced by JCPOA withdrawal in May are very clear.
3. #Iran's petition to ICJ took care to explain the importance of financial transactions for trade use of general or specific humanitarian licenses. Iran argued an interruption not merely from returning sanctions, but also from Trump's promise of *further sanctions.*
