This may seem like a "told you so". It's not. It's more of a "please let's learn from our mistakes as #Labour tries to rebuild itself.

I sent out countless warnings like this months before #GE19, they all fell on deaf ears.

We need leaders who can ally, not stubborn obsessives.

In fact you've only ever lost when you've tried to squeeze them.

We might also reflect on #Labour not having exclusive ownership of truth. This isnt a go at @jeremycorbyn but if even he with his Human Rights Record got confused about the ECHR, others will.

Libs, probably less so. So collaboration would help policy.

If this feels like an anti- #labour rant, this brilliant film, made by #momentum is possibly the best diagnosis of WHY Brexit I've seen.

Superior to anything LDs or SNP have produced.

Ironically no one has seen it coz #Labour are scared to promote it!

Since @bbclaurak proclaimed, history would be unkind to those who objected to EU manufactured xenophobia I've been thinking about how to remove the @BBC entirely from my life.

Naturally, you should remove all billionaire owned press FIRST; they're worse.

Probably the hardest for complete replacement.

@Bloomberg will give you objective news coverage without a xenophobic slant.

For more in-depth documentaries, try podcasts from @IrishTimes, @FT or @TheEconomist #FBPE.

Then for general interest @NPR works well.
Radio - Music

Any of the music stations can be replaced by a plethora of commercial or online streaming services; I won't try to list them all.

@BBC6Music is, IMHO, hardest to replace. But most music discovery streaming services will do it.

No one in the Government, and no MP in the Tory party has negotiatiated a Trade Agreement.

Nor have our Civil Servants

Amazing confidence for one of the most complicated trade deals ever to need to be completed.

I thought humility was the boris word?
Our deadline is self imposed and has therefore an inbuilt assumption that the EU share our priorities.

In fact #BorisJohnson even has the gall to say it will help.

1. Yesterday a journalist described #Mansfield to me as "the first blue brick in the red wall" - something I'm hugely proud of and even more so now that we've knocked it down and rebuilt in blue with some @bluecollartory_ foundations. Here's a why it shouldn't be a surprise:
2. Since I was elected in 17 I've been at pains to try and explain the difference between Labour voters in Islington and in Mansfield. It's not ideological up north, it's historic. Not #Socialism that drove the #Labour vote, but industry.
3. You've only got to watch an episode of #PeakyBlinders to get the gist of why Labour was born as a movement. Protecting workers, fighting for better conditions. Some of the leaders were socialists, but the workers were trying to improve their lot. To put food on the table.

👆Whether the #Labour party was calling itself a socialist or social democrat party in 1945 isn't the point. The real point is that all of the social reforms & plans achieved then, and which the #Tories would love to eradicate now, were achieveable under the idea of social 1/2
2/2 democracy, without the need for the further-left idea of socialism. Any desire to yank the #Labour party further left than it was in 1945 is purely idealogical and is solely because of #Labour having been taken over by far-left entryist ideologues & extremists.

@EmilyYoffe @reason @kmanguward Here's the rest. As I point out, contrary to Ms. Yoffe's claim, there was no "mob justice" in this case. There was in fact a three-month investigation into numerous allegations against Mr. Kaiman. Ms. Yoffe omitted this and much more in her piece. (2/2)

This all started because the #MetPolice & #LBRUT couldn't do their day jobs properly & decided to take the law into their own hands. It started as a small cover up 12 years ago but has turned into British State Persecution.

My company was raided. It should have been a straightforward matter. But the #MetPolice & #LBRUT forgot to seize my computer & came back to do a 2nd raid. The search warrant didn't permit a second entry, however, #LBRUT entered unlawfully

Complaints were then made to my MP #VinceCable. He liaised with the #Metpolice & #LBRUT. And then weeks later, the search warrant was completely changed & was passed off as the search warrant executed on the day of the raids.
