Everyone, including the PMs aide ⏬, Farage, etc. that Article 50 without a plan is what caused the mess.

More reminders.
No one in the Government, and no MP in the Tory party has negotiatiated a Trade Agreement.

Ever.

Nor have our Civil Servants

Amazing confidence for one of the most complicated trade deals ever to need to be completed.

I thought humility was the boris word?
Our deadline is self imposed and has therefore an inbuilt assumption that the EU share our priorities.

In fact #BorisJohnson even has the gall to say it will help.

Big flaw, the EU have some far more interesting deals to do. GoldieOldie from steve⏬

Then there's this little problem, possibly related to the naive inexperience of our Government.

Diverging from alignment in trade deals is what makes them complicated.

That we're aligned isn't good. It signals it's going to be hell.

Since @bbclaurak proclaimed, history would be unkind to those who objected to EU manufactured xenophobia I've been thinking about how to remove the @BBC entirely from my life.

Naturally, you should remove all billionaire owned press FIRST; they're worse.

Probably the hardest for complete replacement.

@Bloomberg will give you objective news coverage without a xenophobic slant.

For more in-depth documentaries, try podcasts from @IrishTimes, @FT or @TheEconomist #FBPE.

Then for general interest @NPR works well.
Radio - Music

Any of the music stations can be replaced by a plethora of commercial or online streaming services; I won't try to list them all.

@BBC6Music is, IMHO, hardest to replace. But most music discovery streaming services will do it.

A lot is going on in the subject of #trans rights, possibly due to "TERF" Jess Philips charges

Trouble is it's all anger, no discussion of the issues, and lots of good old fashioned bigotry and taking of sides.

Despite labour Brexit, I'm going to risk neutrality - 3 points:
1. Should the rights of trans be as important as any other minority group?

2. Are there legitimate concerns for cis and trans in equality of status versus of identity?

3. The "real woman" flashpoint.
If 1 & 2 are resolved is this actually about philosophy not rights?
If you're with me and I haven't lit the world on fire,

1. Seems easily solved, the sketchiest review of data says trans are attackes, often more deprived and the victims of sniping by many agendas
I can't see any argument against establishing firm trans rights in law beyond GRA

It is the case in my experience that those in power rarely attribute failure to themselves. But once they can no longer deny it, they then grasp for others to blame.

Before you know it, they're talking themselves into making all the same mistakes again because they weren't wrong
Catastrophes aren't one man. Delusion and stubborn adherence to a plan need a hydra.

Keep them, the hydra will grow back.

Our country deserves modern solutions to social justice. Not old fashioned socialism sold by old fashioned men still solving old problems from 50 years ago

1.This is a thread for my fellow Remainers in the #fbpe movement. There were some threads yesterday which have caused upset in our community and a shaking of people’s confidence. Well I awoke his morning with these thoughts on my mind and wanted to get them down on paper.
2. We have the privilege of having some excellent specialists in their fields fighting by our side, I thank each and every one of them. But it is by THEIR SIDE. They know the technocratic stuff and understand the legalities of treaties and trade deals.
3. But all of that on it’s own is not what will get us a peoples vote and our personal opinions, worldview and knowledge and experience should hold equal weight when considering our own positions.
