Baden says the noose in Epstein’s autopsy report doesn’t match wounds on his neck: This noose doesn't match the ligature furrow mark. It's wider than this....Most hangings—especially free hangings—the ligature slides up to beneath the jawbone. Here it's in the middle of the neck.

Baden said small burst capillaries, known as petechiae, found on Epstein's face, mouth, & eyes are often an indication of strangulation. The pathologists 60 Minutes spoke with agreed that eye hemorrhaging is common in homicidal strangulation and less common, in suicidal hangings.

The jail transferred Epstein's cellmate which left him alone in his cell just 2 weeks after being taken off suicide watch – a procedure violation. Then, the guards failed to do the mandatory 30 minute check-ins on him the night before he died.
