1/2 Important Update: A probable 'Saudi-based' bot/troll/sockpuppet (inorganic) network that I identified back in November 2019 after it was mentioned by @Buenen seems to have l largely been suspended. Around 1,000 accounts were suspended. I don't know
2/2 if these accounts were part of Twitter's December takedown. I suspect not as I am sure some were still active after that takedown took place. I will cross check where possible. This thread was more unusual in its tweeting behaviour than its metadata profile. See thread 👆
Quick addition. Clearly they missed a bunch though, maybe even 1 - 2000. Including one of my favourites - Hugo Ponce 7. He is still alive and well.
