@politico @CAMERAorg @lennybendavid @elderofziyon However, seeing this white nationalist cite this story, I got curious and did some checking &, sure enough, several top white supremacist websites/forums have promoted the @dlippman dispatch, including StormFront.
@politico @CAMERAorg @lennybendavid @elderofziyon @dlippman Many of these included phrases like "the ZOG" (Zionist Occupied Government) and were replete with antisemitic tropes about how Jews secretly control the government/world and fit the narrative of many disappointed white supremacists that Jews are controlling the Trump admin
@politico @CAMERAorg @lennybendavid @elderofziyon @dlippman In sum: this is but one example of how narratives promoted by mainstream news outlets, and sloppy reporting, end up being used by antisemitic hate sites.
