1. The Zimbabwean Government is a regime of kleptomaniacs. In the bitter marital wrangle between Vice President Chiwenga & his estranged wife, Marry, she is demanding access to a Toyota Lexus. Chiwenga’s says the car was allocated to him under the Command Agriculture program.
2. Even if it were true, it’s ridiculous. It’s not as if Chiwenga, a VP, is short of vehicles. He already has multiple condition of service vehicles, bought by the taxpayer. Why was it necessary to allocate him a vehicle for an agricultural program? A Lexus to go to the farms?
3. Imagine the agricultural equipment that could have been bought with those funds wasted on unnecessary vehicles? So wasteful, yet the regime blames others for Zimbabwe’s economic malaise? The tragedy is there are ordinary people who spend day & night defending this nonsense.
