*sigh* we're going to thread again. Several guys have tried to do this to me as well, but I get the impression it happens to women of color a hell of a lot more, so we're going to thread about BernieBro harassment. 
Now, last time I shared a problematic tweet I redacted the tweeter's ID because I felt they deserved a bit of protection. In this case ... this dude is trying to silence a black woman because she has a voice. So he does not deserve my protection. Be decent but ... whatevs.
The obvious issue with this is what I've already stated. It is wrong to try to silence people or intimidate *anyone* simply because their political views differ from yours. If they were encouraging violence or economic repercussions then okay, but the OP is not doing that.
So this Berniebro trying to intimidate the OP by trying to call her boss on her is basically engaging in racist and sexist harassment and intimidation. This is actually illegal. I doubt that there will be any repercussions, but voter intimidation is illegal.
But even if it weren't illegal, it's deeply racist and sexist and also just unethical. The OP is sharing her opinion regarding a candidate and this guy is hoping her politics will get her in trouble at work. He thinks he can do it because she has overlapping minority identities.
This Berniebro is using privilege to try to silence someone and he probably totally believes that he has every right to behave in this incredibly privileged, entitled, and deeply bigoted manner.
Which brings me to my next point. There's this assumption among Berniebros that failure to support their candidate is not just a moral failing but voids human and civil rights. They also seem to assume that everyone ESPECIALLY big companies agrees with them.
BS has used the n-word and said voting for women is sexist because women are women. Among other things. And in his thirty year career he's passed 7 bills. So there's a lot of people out there who aren't exactly thrilled with him.
Furthermore in 2016 he was effectively barred from the nomination by Super Tuesday and even though he stayed in to the bitter end he still lost by four million votes. He went on to campaign against the winner while siphoning off her funds and she STILL WON the popular vote.
So, it's not really fair or appropriate to assume that a majority of people or really anyone would support BS. But even if it were a fair assumption and even if this company was made up of all BS supporters and the OP it is still illegal for the company to discipline her ...
... on the basis of her political beliefs. IF it turned out she does actually work for that company and IF she were then disciplined or terminated she could probably use this tweet to sue. Again, she is not expressing harmful intent AND this is not hate speech.
Now, companies do sometimes want to promote a certain image and in those cases they'll ask employees to keep separate personal and company accounts on social media. So had she violated something like that ... the Berniebro's response is still a dick move.
You're just going to have to take my word for it that she's almost definitely not in violation of any of her company's policies because I'm not telling you who this is or where she works, but even if she had f-ed up that's none of your business.
Now, the funny thing about all of this as I understand it is she would be within her rights to report this Berniebro either to the police or to his place of work because he is harassing her and he is engaging in racial and sexual discrimination.
Again, the Berniebro is trying to silence a woman of color through intimidation and the threat of either doxing and violence or economic repercussion.

But lastly, none of this works. Perhaps this guy thought he could intimidate her into silence or actually hurt her in her career. But even if she were intimidated she's not going to change her vote. He hasn't gained a vote for Vermont Jesus. He's just done more damage.
Even if he were successful, anyone who sees that he's done this is going to be more annoyed with BS and less willing to vote for him. And the thing is since Berniebros do this sort of thing so frequently it's no longer intimidating.
I was kinda scared the first time a guy sent me a rape threat years and years ago, but at this point rape and death threats are just part of being a woman online. That's wrong, but because Berniebros have doxed and threatened so many of us it no longer really works.
And yeah some of the Berniebros have made good on those threats and attacked people for their political beliefs but if violence and the threat of violence was an efficient means of changing hearts and minds ... well there's Nazis out there.
Basically what I'm saying is Berniebros are trying to use Nazi/Soviet tactics. It's annoying because most of these guys are white and male and therefore do have a lot of relative power, but these threats just piss us off.
I know this particular OP well enough to know she's not going to be silenced by this. This is just going to make her louder. And I'm mad as hell seeing this happen to her, so I'm going to get louder too.
We've known for a long time how bigoted, privileged, cultish, and violent Berniebros are. They're actually worse than Trump supporters. BS himself is emboldening them with his various excuses, comments, and endorsements. But this is just more of why we're #NeverBernie.
