Chakraborthy adds, "Toward the end of our discussion I asked Attlee what was the extent of Gandhi's influence upon the British decision to quit India. Hearing this question, Attlee's lips became twisted in a sarcastic smile as he slowly chewed out the word, m-i-n-i-m-a-l!"
1/n Chakraborthy adds, "My direct question to Attlee was that since Gandhi's Quit India movement had tapered off quite some time ago and in 1947 no such new compelling situation had arisen that would necessitate a hasty British departure, why did they had to leave?"

Why did the British leave India?
"In his reply Attlee cited several reasons, the principal among them being the erosion of loyalty to the British crown among the Indian army and Navy personnel as a result of the military activities of Netaji," Justice Chakraborthy says.

“In February 1946, almost 20,000 sailors of the Royal Indian Navy serving on 78 ships mutinied against the Empire. They went around Mumbai with portraits of Netaji and forced the British to shout Jai Hind.+

“The rebels brought down the Union Jack on their ships and refused to obey their British masters.
This mutiny was followed by similar rebellions in the Royal Indian Air Force and also in the British Indian Army units in Jabalpur. The British were understandably terrified.”

“After the Second World War, 2.5 million Indian soldiers were being de-commissioned from the British Army.
Military intelligence reports in 1946 indicated that the Indian soldiers were inflamed and could not be relied upon to obey their British officers.”+

“There were only 40,000 British troops in India at d time. Most were eager to go home and in no mood to fight the 2.5 million battle hardened Indian soldiers who were being demobilised. It is under these circumstances, the British decided to grant independence to India.”

Moral of the Story from Ramayana Roots:
”Bhaya Bina Hoye Nahi Preet”

Show strength and catch the Vairi Jivha... automatically Sab shant uske baad.

Having said this, remind yourself that history is always written by majorities and by victors.
Indians must be the only people where history is written by Indian Left.
You hear of Netaji now, decades later... his life went by in a flash of an eye..

It is a sobering thought. Nam-o-nishaan mit jaata of Netaji if SM and some brave people had not spoken of him (including our NSA).
That’s how the real story gets hidden. That’s how something else runs as the truth for 7 decades.
Did anybody even care?

Native Indians of America got completely colonised... today they are confined to spaces called “reservations “ in their own country.
Did anybody raise their voice?
Did anybody care?
Truth got hidden.
Satyameva Jayate is not true at all times.

It’s the easiest thing for truth to be hidden... for an untruth to propagate today requires a few influencers to decide who to lift and who to ignore.. straightforward.
Whether history or science, the truth can get hidden until decades later.
Satyameva Jayate is not true.

In fact most of the time I think on reflection that if history is taken into account then (most of the time) it should be “Asatyameva Jayate”
Look at history.
Occasionally it is becoming now “Satyameva Jayate”

Only when someone decided to change the status quo and throw a lot of effort and time and money at it
and most of the time risking their life/etc/etc only then did it become “Satyameva Jayate”
Look at Shivaji Maharaj, what sacrifices he made for “Satyameva Jayate”

👇🏻
Look at Bajiprabhu Deshpande.
See the impossibility of his effort to secure “Satyameva Jayate”.
What was the cost?
Remember that all this is history. One must learn from history to avoid making the same mistakes.

Remember that in the end all it requires is a few people with Asatya to run Asatyameva Jayate. Fake sells and sells very well.

What about Truth you ask?
Well... history awaits, the next decade will decide which side the dice falls!!
