Very nice, especially Christina Vantzou: No.4 String QUARTET (tuneless, more a meditation than anything). But it finished with that classical example of everything that's wrong with the Brexit faith: Angel's Farewell from The Dream of Gerontius.

Many people rave about this "beautiful" piece. But Elgar converted to a particularly vile Catholic cult. One that has been used to hypocritically justify all manner of evil. A belief that suffering (the more undeserved and extreme, the better) is good for you.

Suffering is good for you, not in this world but in the fantasy afterlife our viciously cruel imaginary friend has planned for you.
How like Brexit, I thought. Have faith, and your unnecessary suffering will, in some way, in some imaginary future, be worth while. Yuk.
