It’s Port of Liverpool - part of journey I did this week up Mersey estuary for news at 10 on big Brexit econ choice/ trade off..

Across the water though is the Birkenhead ferry to Belfast, whose transport of goods will see new checks after transition, within the internal boundaries of the UK under terms of renegotiated Brexit deal... essentially to get more freedom for above... big choice is what sort. /2
And then further up estuary there is Vauxhall car plant at Ellesmere Port, an industry that is now being told it won’t get frictionless trade/ supply chains, even as Govt tries to keep it tariff free. Investment in new production held until trade deal certainty... /3
