You do know, Mr. Kenney, that Albertans are not stupid or uneducated? That there are plenty of Albertans who are not cowed by you saying the word "research"? Plenty of us capable of evaluating research design, statistical methods and quality of peer-review? Show us your research.

This is mob thinking, pack thinking. There are no specifics. They have been given someone to hate and their reptile brains are rejoicing in the rush of rage. They try to out-hate one another, coming up with ever more vile suggestions. 2/10
But if you were to ask why they hate the PM so much, would they be able to offer any specific answer based on fact? Or would their answers be vague, based on outrageous conspiracy theories propagated by alt-right online sites? 3/10

I understand that the CPC does not like any suggestion that spreading lies is bad and should stop. There is, however, a huge problem when a party has nothing but spin and lies to offer, and a huge army of misinformation sites and bots to help them spread their falsehoods. 1/12
If Canadians are to be able to know what is actually happening in the country, we need to somehow curtail the increasing habit of certain politicians and the "media" and so-called news sites that support them to propagate misinformation. 2/12
The truth is important. Many Canadians, unfortunately, are getting their information from unreliable and even distinctly malevolent sources. Advertisers selling everything from cars to dish soap to medicine have to stick to certain rules. 3/12

Anyone do dry January? I did. I called it tonight. Because there's a Jets game on and because January is a really long month. And because it was ok until a couple of days ago when I was looking at the calendar and arguing with myself. "28 days is four weeks. That's a month." Nope
But, man, beer is lovely. And the first Moosehead Light (approaching drinking cautiously) hit me like a sledgehammer. Tipsy on one beer. And if I can remain mostly alcohol free going forward, I am going to be a "cheap date" from now on. Wow.
Who'd a thought tolerance could go down so fast? And my point is, actually, that we need to have better systems in place to monitor and support people coming out of rehab. I keep hearing about people who OD shortly after coming out of rehab.
